Intelligent space-saving solution for under-stairs library storage
Effectively using space under a staircase coupled with the task of creating an elegant library was only part of the challenge for Zokk. Precision craftsmanship was necessary to construct the bookcase in three pieces and then assemble in on location into one seamless piece.
Coloured white back walls creates a freestanding look, opening the area up and at the same time aiding a light, airy atmosphere, crucial in making sure the whole creation doesn’t feel cramped.
The bookcase is constructed with blackwood with a 30% gloss varnish.
Functional in its primary task of combining presentation shelves and home-office work station, this space-saving solution makes the best of very limited space.
